Lightly Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 42 – Anti-Aging Face Moisturizer with Zinc Oxide & Aloe Vera – Water Resistant, Non-Greasy & Reef Safe for Sensitive Skin – 3.4 oz

I was given a bottle of this Dermaka sunscreen right before a Colorado ski trip last March. Normally I use a 30-50 SPF on days when the sun is bright and 15 SPF when it isn't expected to be sunny. For the 2 days that the sun beat down on us, I used the Dermaka almost exclusively. The only other product I used was SPF 30 chapstick on my lips throughout the day. I have tried the regular Dermaka before and was happy with it, so I figured that some sun protection in addition to the good skin care it gives would be worth a shot. Normally I will go with something I know works when the risk of exposure is very high, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experiment. As a sunscreen, the Dermaka worked well! I know that these all have to be tested and certified, but as a lotion, it did not leave me wanting more. The lotion went on confidently thick and I could easily see where I had applied it thick enough and where I could use some more. This is important when you are applying sunscreen with only the benefit of some reflective goggle lenses or a vehicle window to guide you. The sunscreen is tinted lightly. When generously applied and allowed to soak into the skin the tinting made it less whitish and more of a peach color. It isn't my normal skin tone, being somewhat naturally darker than the tint, but for more fair skinned people I presume there would be no issue. It's certainly better than stark white and users will probably feel more confident in using a reasonable amount. A somewhat darker tone would be great. The performance of the sunscreen was good and I could easily believe it to be on par with anything else on the market. It does not feel greasy or unpleasant. I was happy that it did not tend to run into my eyes. The tinting does stay present on skin for quite some time, so if you don't want to have any tinting at all, I'd be careful with it. I don't use it on top of my head because the tinting will stick in my hair making it look odd. I was happy enough with it for my face that I ordered a tube to keep with me for future high altitude exposure.

Love the natural ingredients and how well this product works! Other sunscreen leave my skin feeling greasy, dermaka does not! It goes on smooth and has a tinted option so I can wear it daily. I also use it on my kids! Pool season is here and dermaka is always in my pool bag! It should be in yours too!!

Goes on well but seems it doesn’t dry completely. Stays a little tacky.

I tried this sunblock because I use the Dermaka lotion and love it. I purchased this sunblock a couple of weeks ago to use while I was working in the yard in the Florida sun. I wanted a good sunblock with natural ingredients. This sunblock fit my needs. I bought one in tinted for my face and I tinted for the rest of my body. A little goes a long way.. I did notice it lasted a long time blocking the sun better than other sunscreens I have used. I have been in the sun for a week straight and used this everyday and have no signs of sun exposure. A little goes a long way so this tube will last you a long time. I put a pea size amount on my hand for my face and rubbed it in really well. It felt light and no heavy like some others I have used. It let my skin breathe. Some sunscreens make me feel like I am coated in a sweater and cause me to perspire more. This one does not. It is my new favorite go to. I like that you can see it go on so you don’t miss any spots. I did rub it in well though. Thank you for great healthy products Dermaka. Forever a customer. KE

Unfortunately, the tinted sunscreen was watery and the color had a gray tint to it.

Works good. A little thin but goes in and blends in nicely.

I’ve used the previous version for some time and recently started thr 42. SPF. It has. Little less zinc 15% as a opposed to 20%. This is still above the 10% of most other products. Firstly remember to shake the tube….important. I apply a thin layer to start with my fingertips (you can use a brush). When it has settled I do add another thin layer. It’s great for swimming I get a lot of compliments on the the appearance of my skin “glowing”. For more dressy occasions I might add a little makeup. I also apply to my arms on sunny days
