Easy to operate, easy to clean.

What is there to say that hasn't been said? Easy to use and clean, well built, you don't need to be a strong person or go to the gym, well-engineered and very impressive!

This is best garlic press I've owned it pushes so much more garlic than the push downs no mess on back end coming back at you.this just hook in and turn. I don't have strength in hand sometimes to squeeze yo use others .It so easy just remove peel first it can get sticky.

It's fine... I thought it might work better than a standard garlic press, but the result is the same. It's just a difference of leverage where you can use this with two hands.

Hats off to the designers and engineers, this a great product! No internal moving parts, easy to take apart, relatively easy to clean. Other garlic presses get all the tougher bits jammed into the press holes, making it impossible to clean---not this one. A quick rinse and a swish of the finger inside and the bits all come out. Another review mentioned that the handles were flimsy and broke. I would say that person had some really dense garlic, or they have overpowered grip strength! If you're nervous about that, just don't overpack it or squeeze it from the absolute end and you'll be fine. My only complaint is that some of the garlic will wind up unpressed, and you have to fish it out and press it a second time. Not a big deal for me,but something to be aware of. All in all, highly recommended.

I do find this easier to use than the standard clamp-style garlic press. I typically have to scrape and re-press a second time but the pressed garlic is of a uniform consistency. It is built well and easy to clean.

After reading reviews of other brands, I decided to get this one. The twisting mechanism is much better than other brands which parts are easily broken or snapped when you apply force to squeeze the garlic. The colour, design and material of Joseph Joseph are all good. Used three times so far. Hope it will last.

I've had this for a few months now and I couldn't be happier! This mechanism is ingenious and so easy to use. I had a ratcheting garlic press for years that I loved because I have sore, stiff weak hands. But other people would break by over ratcheting and pushing it through the faceplate. They stopped making it and the search for a new one began. So I have tried many different garlic presses over the years and nothing compares to this one by Joseph Joseph. I love it! I want to own the lemon squeezer, and the potato ricer and I don't even rice potatoes! But it is just that brilliant. Companys will be copying this design as soon as patents are off! This item would be great for anybody, but it would be especially great for anyone who suffers with arthritis, chronic pain, or anything else where you have problems with your and arms shoulders and or, upper back ... it is just so easy to use. Smiply line up the red dots and then squeeze using all of your upper body in a fluid motion, no effort or strain on your hands, wrist or shoulders. There is little to no resistance, no matter how many cloves are in there. But don't overfill to the point where the cloves come out the top. The threads have to be able to get started. If you want more than 3-4 cloves at a time it easy to reload and you don't even have to clear out the last bits of garlic. This is simply the best garlic press I’ve ever owned. I think it’s owed to the design of the pressing mechanism, but it just makes pressing garlic so easy!! Yes, there is a little bit of garlic left in the bottom - but that happens with all presses I’ve tried, and if you just smoosh it around a bit you can press through again. Easy to clean too.
