Once it’s heated, it does a great job straightening without feeling like it’s overly damaging or too hot on the hair. My only real complaint is the button placement. They make it a bit hard to hold and maneuver because with almost every movement, the straightener turns off or changes settings, which means I have to stop and reset it. It also takes a little while to fully heat up, but again, it’s not “burn-your-hair” hot, which can be a plus. Overall, it’s very easy to use and beginner-friendly. I would suggest using a light grease, serum, or heat protectant instead of going over completely dry hair, as dry passes may cause shedding. For the price and performance, it gets the job done with a few minor adjustments needed.
