It's not too wide, but this style does seem to run a little large. I normally wear a 7, but wanted to have plenty of toe room so ordered it in a 7 1/2. Needless to say I have plenty!! The ventilation holes are much appreciated in our desert climate. I'm anxious to see how they wear as I play a lot of social tennis at a pretty good pace & most shoes only last around 4 mos.
