This trimmer is exactly what it claims to be. It is an efficient and effective way to get rid of facial hair as well as unwanted body hair. It is not fancy and does not have all the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive options provide but if you are looking for an electric razor to trim and maintain your look then this is a product that is well worth the cost. I have used many electric razors in the past and I am always trying to maintain a certain look with my facial hair. I typically let my beard grow until it is decently long and starts to look a little unkempt. After that I like to do the 5 o'clock shadow look and trim and maintain until it grows out again. This is razor is great for my needs. It has preset guards that I can use to get the exact length I am looking for. They fit perfectly and you wont have to worry about them getting lose while shaving. The guards are great for any short look and the 5 o'clock shadow look that I use but they do not have a lot of settings if you want a longer beard. There is an adjustable guard for that if you desire but I did not find that to be as reliable as the preset guards. The razor is the exact size and look you would expect and it actually is a higher quality material then you would think for this price. It feels sturdy and not as cheap as some of the other electrics I have used in the past. This is battery powered so please be aware that you will need to spend money on batteries in the future which obviously makes the cost less impressive. I did notice that it is very powerful for an electric and compared to the wall plug inexpensive razor I was using before this is much stronger and I was not worried about pulling my hair or not getting the job done. This is a very basic trimmer that is great for someone who needs to shave quickly or on the road. It is not going to substitute your razorblades for a close and clean shave but it will allow you to clean up if you only have a couple minutes and it does a really good job at getting rid of hair in unwanted places. I use a razor-blade once a week to clean up my neck hair and to shave my line and then I use this daily or as needed to keep my beard the length I want and to clean up if I dont have time for a blade shave. Manscaping is also possible with this razor and I use the guards to make sure I don't cut myself. It works. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who needs an electric because for the price this product is way better then what you pay for.

The trimmer is of elegant design and is comfortable to use for trimming beards and mustaches. I have the model that uses 2 AA batteries, which makes it convenient; no waiting for it to be recharged. The plastic guards work well for different lengths (I've used only two of the set provided) but are difficult to attach and remove. I would have given the product five stars, except for the minor issue with the plastic guards. The ear and nose hair trimmer is also easy to use and well-designed; it requires 1 AA battery.

My husband loves it, it’s quiet , easy to use and cord free which is perfect.

I mostly love it. It makes a great bikini trimmer (ladies, stop paying for the crappy Schick TrimStyle trimmer, this is way better!) and it's cheap! My one issue is that it seems to rust very easily. This is the second one I've gotten, because the first was in rough shape and not working well. Also, I think it drains the batteries I put in it (maybe I'm getting cheap batteries... But I don't think that's it). I feel like I'm putting new batteries in it every couple weeks (about every 2 to 3 uses). So to sum it up, it's a cheap trimmer, it does what it's supposed to do, but I wish it was built to last longer.

This was part of a large XMAS restocking order for my store, 56 clippers, trimmers razors combined, and other stuff, approx. $3,000. Of the 56 hair/beard grooming units I had issues with 9 units. - 1 unit out-rightly damaged (crushed unit packed in perfectly good Amazon Shipping Box) - 8 units used (plenty blemishes, human hair; 1 item in heavily taped Retail Box and the other 7 in just the plain inner black bag/case inside the Amazon Shipping Box). I bought 3 of these Wahl Units in this Order and 1 of them (packed in same box with a SIMM Memory, undamaged) was the crushed unit in the box, listed above. My problem is compounded by the fact that I am an International Customer (Virgin Islands), but the problems above in no way relate to the shipping process as I received my Order in trademark Amazon Shipping Boxes in pristine condition and Amazon Shipping Tape intact! The problems originated with Amazon's Fulfillment. As an International Customer I am unable to take advantage of Amazon Returns, as it would be complicated (local Customs) and costly (International shipping or courier), much more than the cost of the products. I tried to resolve the issues with Amazon but to no avail. Was ran around between the Robot Chat System (the BOT), live Chat Agents, Telephone Service and E-Mail, and finally told nothing can be done unless the items are RETURNED. My concerns? These are Personal Hygiene Products, used products are a concern of course! Is it Ethical, Legal even to ship customers used/damaged stuff when they pay for NEW stuff? What Systems and Policies does Amazon have in place to ensure that Customers are not shipped Damaged, Returned and/or USED Items when they pay for NEW Items? Was my Order targeted as a Large International Order to ship or off-load bad and used stuff? This is not the first time I have received bad/used stuff from Amazon or have problems with Amazon Fulfillment, but the magnitude of issues in this single order, it is clear that deterioration at Amazon Fulfillment is escalating. My conclusion - Beware and be careful and selective when buying from AMAZON. If you are buying for personal use, for resale, to give away as a gift, or if you are an International Customer, BEWARE! The Amazon of today is a MAMMOTH that has spun out of control with questionable Ethics, Business Practices and cannot be TRUSTED!

I used this combo and have to say it's great! No cutting your skin with the bare clippers, cuts nice and close to the skin to leave only stubble. The attachments work well. It also comes with a bare blade guard for storing away. Since its battery operated there's no need to deal with a cord while grooming. As for reviews stating it's cheap, yes its made of plastic... But! It makes it light! (also, let's be honest... If budget was not an issue, you would not be reading this review and considering this product!!)

I use it for my face and under my arm. IT does a good job and comes with different guides which is also useful. I wish it was rechargeable, but for the price you get what you pay for, in this case it's worth it, simple to use.
