Great value and very reliable
We’ve been using this door chime at work for the front lobby, and it’s been fantastic. The 500 ft range gives us plenty of flexibility to place the receiver wherever we need, and it reliably alerts us whenever the door opens. The 58 chime options let us pick a sound that’s noticeable without being annoying, and the volume control is great — we keep it loud enough to hear throughout the lobby. Setup was simple, the sensor and receiver came pre-paired, and installation took just a few seconds. The unit feels sturdy enough for daily use, and the battery in the sensor lasts a long time. It’s been a real help for monitoring visitors and deliveries without constantly watching the door. Highly recommend for any office, shop, or reception area where you need a reliable, easy-to-use alert system.

Simple and Easy to Install
Such a simple but effective solution for creating an alert for when my storefront opens. Multiple chime settings and volumes to choose from and easily fits behind my POS system where it's out of the way of operations.

Works Great!
Works great. The transmitter is fairly small and is attached to the door frame with a piece of included double sided tape. The magnet is even smaller and attaches to the door itself with the second piece of double sided tape. Unit sounds when the door opens. It does not alert when the door closes, which I like. Five sound levels and over 50 chimes to choose from. Receiver is 80 feet away and I have not had any false or missing alerts. Only had it a week but I am very happy with this product.

Some TIPS / things to know before install
5 stars for price point and ease of use, 3 stars for instructions and hard(ish) to use mute feature. This unit is very simple and does indeed work to alert you when a door is opened. Unfortunately, the instructions are oversimplified and sorting out things like tone and volume are not intuitive. Below I listed what I learned in the process and hope it helps the next buyer. Setting it up took way longer than it needed to, and a lot of trial and error; but, the finished install works great and I would buy again. STARTING: When you get it, you just plug it in. The chime noise comes out of the unit at the plug, so consider where you want to hear the chime when choosing where to plug it in (and it has to be within 500 ft. of the door you're monitoring). TONE: There are only two buttons on the unit. (1) The tone button, which is marked with music note icon; and (2) the volume, which has a sound icon. Note which is which before you plug it in (they are hard to see, and if you’re plugging it in behind or under something like I was, even harder). To adjust the tone you quick press the tone button, once for each tone. What the instructions do not tell you is that to get to the next tone you have to press it again before the current tone ends, otherwise it just plays the same tone again and you may think it's not working. When you find a tone you like, you can just stop - there is nothing more you need to do to set to that tone. There are 58 tones to chose from, from simple chimes to melodies. If you want to go back to one you heard a few tones ago, can go in reverse order by holding the tone button down for a few seconds until you hear a beep. VOLUME: Similar to the tone, you short press – and need to do so before the tone ends. There are 5 levels. From mute, it goes up through the levels, then makes a two-beep sound, then goes back down. It's a bit of a hassle to run through them and get back to mute every time you want to adjust or mute. FYI - In my attached video the tone is very low and may be hard to hear. I have it set to a lower volume and was about 15 ft away from the plug in unit. It does go up loud enough to be really annoying if/when in a quiet space. BURGALAR ALERT: You *might* be able to use this as an intruder alarm. There are various tones and volumes, some are long and definitely loud enough to wake one up or hear through normal volume music/regular house noises *IF* the unit is plugged in near you. It does not, however, have a screaming loud alarm like, for example, window glass break sensors do. The maximum distance from transmitter to plug in unit is 500 ft., so you likely can't put the transmitter on one side of your home and the plug in unit (chime sounder) on the other side, unless your home is smaller. So if you live in a studio, it would absolutely work, but if you live in a 2-story home and would need to hear it sounding from downstairs, no way. MUTE: My one gripe about this unit is that's it's not easy to get to mute. Mine is plugged in behind a dresser and I have to reach back there, the press the button repeatedly until cycles to mute - and I'd likely go through that a few times because with the needed quick press it’s easy to miss stopping on mute. For my purpose I want to be able to turn it off and on daily. I would have paid for an upgrade for a remote that switched it off, or an app, or even just an on/off button or toggle on the unit. Unplugging it resets things, so that's not a good option. As a hack, I used command strips to put it up and I just pull off the small magnet to disengage. PAIRING: It comes paired, you just pull off the battery tab and it works. There are instructions for pairing, (to be used if you have multiple devices or I guess if it un-pairs for some reason), but on mine it wasn’t necessary. Just FYI - this is not a smart device, it pairs only from the unit to the transmitter, not to your phone. For the money that's fine, but with all the tones and features advertised one mistakenly might think it does. INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER: I could not install as pictured because of my door trim. Easy enough to fix, I just put the large part of the transmitter on the door and the small magnet part on the edge of the trim (see picture). I also used velcro strips instead of the included adhesive, for easy removal of either side of the unit. FYI - the transmitter has to be very close to the magnet to work (1 cm), and you need to ensure the transmitter and magnet are facing each other the right way (there are marks on it to indicate, and you can play with it before you install - the instructions do cover this part).

Great device. Serious security that will make you smile.
Great deal: with variety of chimes. Easy to install, works every time, and has volume setting. If you work or dwell in the other side of your home or apartment..and want added security..this is what you should have..no wiring..just effective notice when your door opens.

Great doorbell double-sided tape not so much
Door time works as it should it's definitely loud enough and last for years this is my second one that I bought the only complaint I have about the newest one I bought is the double-sided tape that holds the magnet for the sensor isn't very strong it keeps falling off other than that it's a great product I just recommend going out and buying some double-sided tape rather than using what is provided

Great product but came with USA plug with no adaptor not a huge deal but when delivering to Australia it would have been good to use out of box.

Is it possible to set the receiver to flash continuously until the transmitter and magnet are side by side ?
