Yes…just as long as the gallon jug is sitting directly on the bottom of the cooler. There’s about 1.5-2 inches between the top of the jug and the bottom of the lid.

How long does it hold ice?

It will hold ice for 2 days in 60degree nights in my car. Third day you’ll have cool water. This is after a 20 day trip on the road just completed 6/23
