**Q: Does this come with the actual quick release plate? Or do you need to buy the plate as well?**
A: You will need to buy a separate release plate.  However, it uses the Arca-Swiss standard, which are easy to find.  Some lenses even have Arca-Swiss plates built in to their collars.

**Q: Does it hold manfrotto standard quick release plates (501hdv 503hdv 701hdv 577/519/561/q5 (red)?**
A: No! The Manfrotto video heads use the larger Vinten style plate. The arca-swiss plates are about 66mm wide and the Manfrotto plates are wider. However, you can use an Sunwayfoto adapter (available here) to adapt a Manfrotto video head the arca-swiss.
