Dash cams are getting more and more popular as people are starting to realize how important they are on the road. Especially for Uber and Lyft drivers, dash cams are a necessity to prevent fraud and protect yourself in the case of an accident. At first, I tried a couple cheaper models with not too many features, which all seemed to stop working within a matter months at best. This camera from LAKASARA has been working pretty well so far, and I'm impressed with its abilities.The package is fulfilled by Amazon so it comes fast. Inside, you will receive the Dash Camera (LAKASARA), Car Power Cable (cigarette lighter to micro USB), USB A to Micro USB Cable, CD, Windshield Mount, and the User's Manual. The company also provides a one year warranty which is one of the reasons I bought this camera. I have decent experience with dash cams in the past, so this one was pretty easy to set up.Features:- Records in 1080p at 30 fps. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but am pleasantly surprised that this unit surpassed my expectations. It has two cameras, one on the side that can be used at many different angles and one in the front. Very well made and easy to use. I like that it can automatically turn on with my car and record continues loops or can take a still shot at anytime. The 2 cameras store their ahots on different files. It has every setting you can imagine and comes with a disc to store your videos on if you choose to download them. This unit is definitely worth the money and you won't be sorry if you choose to purchase this unit. The instructions are fairly easy to follow and small enough to carry with you in case you need a reference.

This is a dash cam that will allow you to record what is in front of you and your passengers. You can shut that feature off which is just what I have done. The interior camera rotates to the left so you can adjust it to shoot video to the left (drivers side). The menu has a lot of options for you to set the camera to that also includes resolution, looping, zoom (if you have a longer front end), stabilization, G Shock sensor, parking monitor, etc. It does come with a suction cup, a car charger that is quite long, the camera itself and an instruction booklet.The video quality is pretty good during the day and into the early evening see the attached video. I think that is where this camera shines. If it is really dark the video is a little grainy looking but I think that is what you are going to get with any dash cam. Recording seems little slow and seems to stops to soon. In other words, it reacts to motion a little slow and when the vehicle stops, the recording seems to stop a couple of seconds later so when another vehicle starts to back into you very quickly it is slow to react to it.Overall the camera is great when you are taking a road trip and driving all day and catching those people getting a little too close to you or cutting you off.Pros:Easy to use.Great for Uber or LyftThe suction cup actually worksVideo quality is pretty good.Stabilization is better than expected.Cons:No app.Stops recording too soon.Doesn’t seem to capture everything.

I've received and tried this Dash Cam for about a week and i don't like it. The video quality is good but it does not continue recording as it should be. It creates multiple random video length files from 10 seconds to 5 minutes, but most of them are less then one minute length files, does not matter what loop recording I set. I tried 3, 5, & 10 minutes settings, they all do the same thing. I was driving for about an hour but it only recorded randomly for about 20 minutes. I will return it. Two stars are for video quality.
