My neck muscles are always tight, especially at the base of my skull. There is this endless feedback loop between my nerves and my muscles causing insane constant pain. I used to use the back end of a sharpie (per my PT) but hated the indent it would leave on me and how it would bruise me. This thing is amazing! It doesn’t hurt my wrist or thumb to use but can still apply a lot of pressure right where I need it in the suboccipitals. It’s great at loosening up tight knots and trigger points there. I imagine this will help me last longer between injections. My only complaint is that I wish one of the ends were a bit thinner to get into the muscle a bit deeper.
