Formed in Cardiff as far back as 1992, Catatonia hit the UK Top 3 in early 1998 with 'Mulder And Scully', following up with the equally memorable 'Road Rage'. But lead singer Cerys Matthews became a household name thanks to guest vocals on Space's 'The Ballad of Tom Jones' and Tom Jones' 'Baby It's Cold Outside', and the story ended much too soon.
