This will be my fourth beaded curtain. The first three were the cylindrical bamboo beads on wire, little wire pieces strung thru each bead and connected to the next. Love they way they look and sound, but I needed something sturdier for my high traffic doorway. The problem with the bamboo beads on wires is the little hooks at the bottom start getting caught on each other, and if you are walking thru and don’t realize it, you easily pull the whole strand off. Yes, you can repair it, but after a while it gets to be a pain and if your curtain has a design, it messes that up too. So, I took a chance on this curtain, because it is wood beads on one long string, which is how these curtains were made back in the olden days (1960s-70s) This curtain is not as dense as the bamboo curtains, but really none of them are totally opaque, and it is not as pleasant of a sound when the beads click together, but the reviews are excellent, and I decided to go for it. Came quickly and nicely packaged in a sturdy box. No broken pieces. Took me about 5 minutes to hang, I just pounded in a few nails and up it went. I got the tan and brown southwestern design, which is even, no mistakes in the pattern, and looks fine with my decor. I probably would have chosen one of the darker colors/designs, but this one was the only color that I would not have to wait too long for delivery. The only “defect” I noticed is that not all the strands are the same exact length at the bottom, but it is a handmade item and this does not affect the overall look. I like that the beads are squared off, so there are flat surfaces that catch the light and give it a little shine. It was easy to install and looks great. I am just hoping for some longevity, as I go in and out this door a few dozen times a day. As for my first impression, it is great! Also, a little card came with my curtain with the customer service info in case I have any issues…always nice when a company stands behind their product. Six months later….May 25, 2025 This curtain has held up well. I see a little bit more string in between some of the beads, probably the string stretches a little over time, due to the weight of the beads, but it isn’t obvious unless you are really looking for it. Not one strand has fallen off, not one bead has broken, which is more than I can say for the bamboo curtains. Definitely impressed with the quality of this bearded curtain and can definitely recommend it!!

We bought new bedroom furniture and we were limited on space so we had to eliminate a closet door. We came up with the idea of replacing it with these beads. Worked perfectly. Great quality product and looks amazing. We even had to cut them to fit the opening And it worked out great. If you do this though, make sure you cut it from one end where all the strings end to prevent cutting the end of the line. I’m not sure if it matters but to be safe I did that. Worth the money.

We've had this bead curtain for over 2 weeks now. We really like this fun aqua/ turquoise wooden bead curtain because it looks great & it is a breeze to install over a doorway. Very well made with sturdy string and gorgeous wooden beads threaded through a strong wooden board with two eyelet screws attached at the top edge. We used J hooks to install it over the top of the doorway which took only a few minutes. Yes, on a few strands you can see a bit of string between the beads, but not enough to detract from the overall design. Thinking this mild slack in the strands actually helps to prevent them from snapping/ breaking. We have large dogs & several cats and all of us swish through this bead curtain without any problems. The "blue" bead color looks gorgeous with our decor and actually has many shades of aqua blue/ turquoise.

These beads are much more beautiful than I expected. I have them hung in the doorway where my living room enters the hallway. They are so thick and strung with large, shaped beads. I just cannot say enough about them. If I ever want or need another set, I will definitely buy these again. Different colors/styles are offered, but I just LOVE the deep blue, which matches my living room furniture and drapes.

High quality beads and string and craftsmanship! super easy to hang up. More pricey than some other options but the beaded curtain is pretty dense and looks so pretty in high and low lighting. The different tones of blue throughout has a very pretty almost shimmering effect!!

Beautiful, but there are a few faulty beads, some with the paint on them missing. The beads tend to bunch up on the bottom, making them crooked.

They're just what I was looking for. Beautifully hand made. I eliminated a door and was looking for something different. The colors go with my room just right as I have lots of shades of blue.

These wood beaded door curtains are good quality and so beautiful. I bought two and hung them in my closet doorway. Easy to hang and there's a nice wood frame at the top that the beads hang from. I am definitely buying more in the future!
