I do not know how I lived without this, my life is now complete as is the sonic landscape and even the most sub-par recording now sounds like a Mobile-Fidelity release. Ok, I have a Project Turntable with MDF plinth and MDF platter, so ANYTHING is going to sound better. I was using their branded suede slip mat and replaced with this. It does sound better. Does it sound better because it looks cool? Maybe, there certainly is that. All, the same- vast improvement and will certainly plus up a mid turntable.

For $20 you can't go wrong....looks good, improves sound quality....and easy to clean...much better than felt or cork ...and so far it seems to have improved static control....I'm pleased with it.

I didn't expect much. Yes. It looked pretty on the pictures. Sound quality? How much can a mat improve the sound. I was wrong. It is really pretty. I take out records after playing to see this mat more often. The sound got fuller and deeper. The bass sound definitely got tighter. It is worth $20 definitely.

The product itself was a good one, it improved the looks of the stylish vinyls i play and the sound quality, giving it more clarity and mid range sound… I only deducted 1 star because it’s actually my second purchase since the first one was the wrong item and Amazon did an amazing job guiding me through the process of getting the right item.

This acrylic mat was a perfect replacement for the stock rubber mat that came with my turntable. Great aesthetic contrasting white color look against my all-black turntable and a noticeable improvement in reducing static noise and vibrations. This fits perfectly flush on the platter, is solidly constructed, and functions as expected. Because of its color, it may be hard to tell when dust shows up, when it's time to clean it. Recommended for a low-cost mat upgrade.

It is a mirror shiny mat, wonderfully done, and it looks amazing on the plate. The arm needs a little height adjustment, but that is about it. Well done Hudson HiFi! Why it is 5 starts and I still returned it? Because it has one issue. The surface is so shiny, that even a tiny little piece of dust can scratch it and it collects the dust. If you can avoid dust, then this is probably the most beautiful mat you can get.

Looks nice! Not sure how much of a difference it makes but it’s certainly nice to look at hah! And I watched the video on using it for tuning anti skate and it worked well for that so all in all I get a cool little aesthetic “upgrade” and I was able to tune my turntable so it’s a win win

Hudson has delivered yet again. This is the third platter mat I have gotten from them and each one has been flawless. It comes in a sturdy envelope that has a quality liner that you can use to store it if you ever decide to change it out for a different color. I have them on my AT120 my Gemini XL500ii my Pioneer DJ and my Technica SL1220 MK2. They help tighten up the mids and the bass is a lot cleaner and robust. I'm not a DJ but I do prefer those types of TT. Definitely worth every penny. If you're already reading reviews, then just go ahead and buy one already. Happy spinning.

This thing is truly awesome! Bought the Black one. It looks like Would definitely buy one again, maybe in a different color.

As per the price the product. But only changing the mat will not enhance the sound. Other factors also responsible..

Good quality and makes my transparent vinyls look amazing, about the same thickness as my rubber mat too, very happy with it.

Aber eine Klangverbesserung kann ich nicht feststellen.... Sieht aber echt gut aus...
