Funny in 2 days both of my vehicle's dashboard low tire pressure warning lights came on. Instead of going to a tire shop to get air I thought buy a portable air compressor and don't deal with this anymore. I ordered off Amazon one that got very good reviews and then I woke up the next morning does this one have an AC connection. It did not and only has the 12V plug into your cigarette lighter in the car. No dice and cigar for me on that one and cancelled the order in time. So ordered this Astro that have both AC and 12V connections. It does work fine and got my tires to the proper inflation but have to say.... it is a loud little compressor. Saying that most all air compressors can be on the loud side but I am still happy and glad I got this one. I really like the auto shut off feature when the proper psi gets to what your input is. Also the price was decent. 😊

This is one powerful little compressor! It works great and is perfect for car tires! It automatically senses the PSI and you can program it to stop at your desired setting. It fits tires perfectly, shuts off automatically, and no need to worry about battery life as it uses both AC and DC power. No leaks and is a great value!

So far so good. This is a decent portable pump at a decent price. Really makes it easy to fill your tires, so no more going to the gas station to do that or lugging up my 6 gallon air compressor from the basement to do it. And of course great when on the road and you need to air up a tire in an emergency. I tried all power inputs to verify they worked AC, and 15 Volts DC input both from the car lighter socket and a car jump start power pack 15 volt output. I aired down 2 tires to 29 or 30 PSI and then used the pump to automatically inflate them to 36 psi. Took approx a minute to do that for each tire. Verified the pressure was within 1 psi by using a digital pressure meter. It appeared the pressure shown on he pump was either right on or maybe 0.5 to 1 psi lower than the digital pressure meter. Is a bit noisy but that is expected for pumps like this. Only complaints are, like other reviews noted, the hose length is a bit short. You have to in some cases stand the unit on its end in order to reach the valve stem if it happens to end up at the top of the tire when you stopped the car (on 19" tires). Like another reviewer indicated, it is probably short so it can fit in the indent on the back of the unit. I don't like that indent as I think it unnecessarily bends the hose to much so I leave it out of the indent in the carrying bag (granted it is a 150 PSI hose so maybe this is an unfounded concern) . Only time will tell if the hose holds up as well as the plastic lever that is used to hold it to the valve stem. Hopefully if these go bad past the warranty you can buy that hose and lever lock as a single item you can replace the bad one with (either thru them or possible if it is a standard connector at the other end that you could get the hose anywhere)

I love this tire inflator! Works so well!!! I like that it has an automatic shut off, and it doesn’t weigh much at all. You just pack it up into the storage case provided and you’re done. It is well worth their money!!!

Bought this to replace another compact tire compressor that died. Key requirement was high pressure capability (my trailer tires require 80psi, this unit advertises up to 150psi). A big bonus on this compressor has the ability to power from either 12V battery or standard household AC (110-120V AC). In the past I've used a 12V extension cord to reach from my truck's 12V port to the trailer tires, and these 12V extension cords cause a noticeable loss of power when inflating at/near 80psi (because of the higher current required for 12V operation). Plus I had to worry that the 12V outlet I was using could handle the current required (usually more than 10A for these kinds of compressors). Now I can simply use a standard household extension cord plugged in to my truck's built-in inverter outlet (115V AC) or the exterior AC outlet on my trailer (which I can power with the trailer's built-in inverter) and there is no noticeable loss of power even with a long extension cord, which makes this compressor much easier and faster to use. In fact this compressor works pretty quickly for its size. It was able to fill from 76 to 80 psi in a 16" trailer tire in about 2-3 minutes. I was able to do this fill in 4 tires consecutively without overheating the compressor (outside air temperature was pretty cold that day, about 32 deg F). After 10 minutes of cool-down as a precaution against overheating, I was also able to quickly fill from 76 to 80 psi in my larger truck tires. It is not a particularly quiet pump, I'd say about average noise level for this type/size, but given it's good rate of fill I'm perfectly happy with its noise level. Other things I like: Compact size, storage case, both power cords are detachable, very nice design for securing/storing the air hose (fits into slots on the bottom of the plastic case). This is a great little compressor for keeping my truck and trailer tires correctly inflated. UPDATE: after about 10 months of occasional use the compressor developed an air leak internally - could hear the air hissing loudly when connected to a tire. I contacted the manufacturer and they are sending me a replacement. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This was the best £30 I ever spent. I honestly cannot tell you how pleased I was with myself 😁. All the stations in my area have broken air pressure machines. Before that when they were working I had to find the right change to use (who carries money anymore nowadays!). There was one that switched to card payment which was cool but that then broke 🤦‍♂️. Not to mention the stress of having multiple people waiting in a queue behind you + you're that person in the queue waiting when you have somewhere to be. Why did I not think to search for this before!? This thing is simple to use, and it's quick to pump up. The connector goes on fine, no problems there and the pump auto-turns off once the desired PSI is reached (and it's a simple button press to change from PSI to whatever measurement unit you need). The only downside, and it's a very minor thing as it's the same issue with the machines you get at petrol stations (hence it's still 5 stars), is the noise. It's quite loud. But like I say, it's quick to pump up so you don't have it on for long at all. I'm very pleased with this tool. Highly recommended.
