Just getting started
Out of the box it was as others stated, packed very well. The welding shield and wire brush can be thrown out. The ground cable was longer than the 4' that it states in the description, it's more like 7-8'. Ground clamp doesn't seem to have a strong spring and I'm not a young strong buck. Right off the bat I ordered more tip, gas shields and defusers. Thought I should before the company stops making the machine. This import companies really need to have all the available parts on hand rather than telling their customers to hunt them down, parts do break. Still waiting to hear back on what style ground cable twist end is. All in all it looks fairly well made. Now, to my first welds on 1/8" plate. I'm running in 115 volts, using argone mix and .035" wire, amperage was straight up in the dial (half way) when I started and the high welds are the results. I didn't know what to do with the voltage so I left it. Wire speed was a little over half way. I ended up turning the amperage all the way up to get it to lay down better I guess but, I'm not happy with the way it looks but, I'm just learning all over after many years. The welds just look "dry" or dull, maybe cheap wire, not enough gas? I thought that this would have blew the breaker with amps full out. Update 1-4-21--- changed out my gas bottle to 75/25 argon/Co2 and the welds look much better, pretty sure I was sold a bottle of pure Argon, I also did some voltage and amperage measurements on mig, full out the amperage was between 186 and 200 amps voltage is maxed out at between 25-27 volts fluctuating some. I will be checking the wire feed output which they claim 16 meters per minute or 629" per minute.

You'll probably die from this. All other reviews have to be fake.
The instructions are completely unintelligible. If they can't spend the $50 to hire someone to even review the manual I can't risk my life using this. There's a grounding screw that you have to manually ground to an external source, which is painted. This is supposed to be connected to a nut which is painted including the threads. The instructions ask you to connect the ground to a position. I assume they mean positive but how the **** am I supposed to know. The instructions state that you should not use this unless you are a professional and nationally certified so not for DIY. Maybe it's a phenomenal machine and it works great. But I don't want to die trying to find out.

Blown away by this machine!!!!
As a professional welder for going on 13 years i was skeptical about the performance I'd see with this machine. Don't be skeptical like me this machine is amazing. I make custom gates and I've used Miller, Lincoln, esab, Hobart, you name it I've tried it and the mig 200 is on par if not better than all of them. This machine is as smooth as can be. It took me a few seconds to get it dialed in but after that my beads were beautiful. It has plenty of power, I've welded 3/8 with it no problem. Blown away with the performance for the price. 5 stars all day

Extraordinary value for the price!
This little thing kicks ass! I've used much larger welders that didn't do as much as this thing! For the money you cannot go wrong! Only thing I would suggest is that the company maybe supply a reasonable auto darkening hood, gloves, pliers and chipper. I'd gladly have paid another $100. Maybe to even look into supplying a mini argon tank to sell with the machine. To have a complete set up means a lot to the consumer and sourcing everything needed can be timely and costly. Otger then those things which aren't even massive issues I'd say you'd be hard pressed to find a better welder for the price!

How to make the mma option work.
The manual is nearly useless. Good thing I had a mig welder previous to this one.I have to contact the seller because the MMA would not work. it sets a spark and that is it. The help from the seller was excellent. I was using the wrong rod. Use a 6013 rod or maybe the 6011 would work. Simple solution but would have helped if the manual would have provided a chart with the type of rods that will work with this piece of equipment. The mig option does work fine.

Great welder for the price.
I have been very happy with this machine. I set it up with shielding gas and have been running it MIG 110v for 2 paying jobs and some home repairs. You have to make up your own gas connection hose the machine just has a barbed fitting sticking out the back. It has pretty good power turned all the way up 110 was able to get good penetration on 1/4 inch box. Excellent turned down low welding end caps on 1/16 inch material. Now I am trying to figure out what spool gun to get and try some thin aluminum..
