Hello! The Rightline Gear Adjustable Cargo Bar measures 43"-75" in length.

Q: Will this work with the Subaru forester outback?

I say it probably would, it is adjustable, and if it would not work, then you can just send it back. Very good load bar. I use it in my semi truck for a hanger to hang. My clothes up works excellent for me.

Q: Is there a place to add a lock, to lock it in place?
