Damp rid is a great product for winter storage of campers, boats and even storage buildings! They are one of the best ways to keep moisture out your camper, I include them in every rv winterization I do, and typically space them every 10ft or so. I'll also keep a few on hand the rest of the year incase I start smelling any of that musty smell in one of my customers units. They don't give off more than a light fresh smell, and I haven't had one of the plastic baskets break from freezing, dropping, etc. I would not recommend the bags in a camper, I see too many torn open by a slideout.

I can’t do without these in my damp home. They really make a difference in closets. Keeping the moisture level down, helps to discourage the development of mold. I only wish they would be more consistent about the way the product is made.
