12V DC Power Connector 5.5mm x 2.1mm 24V Power Jack Plug Barrel Adapter for CCTV Security Camera Led Strip Light (2 x Male + 2 x Female)

This DC power connector adapter fit standard 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm barrel plugs as expected and worked with my 12 V and 24 V devices without issue. The metal barrel fit snugly and made solid contact in the jack, and I didn’t experience any loose connections during normal use. Build quality feels typical for this type of adapter — solid enough for regular plugging and unplugging without bending or loosening. I got these for a project I’ve been working on tirelessly for months in hopes to finish it once and for all. Sadly I didn’t need it for the project but I’m keeping it anyway for the future in case I need it. For the value of the money, I’d say they’re decent in price but I admit packaging wise I wish they packed it as all together because when I got it, they were lose in the shipping package. While I think the screw in portion is a great idea and saves one from needing to solder, it does have its drawbacks because if you use a wire, the wire will come lose. Quality wise I’d say it’s pretty decent and does the job and will fit with the ends of batteries. Overall I’d say it’s easy to use if you have a battery pack with no end port, but just make sure to use a wire with an ending to it that can keep in place.

These plugs and Jack's are especially useful for powering devices and power adaptors.

No Problem

I bought these to extend a low voltage line that had the female end already on from the factory. It was a perfect fit and all I had to do was strip the wires and screw down the terminals, observing the marked polarity. I did wrap them with electrical tape to prevent incidental shorts.

Warning, these can run 3A at best. I cut one apart because it was running 72C with a 10A load. As you can see the inside is very thin. They often come with 5V 5A power bricks, they shouldn't. They work great, so long as you stay under 3A. The vendor needs to put the actual rated amps on the page so people don't make a mistake that will burn down their house.
