Leaks a little upon disconnection
This may be a little unfair to deduct a star because it is not sold as a completely leak-free connection, but upon disconnection there is always some minor leaking from fluid between the male and female disconnects. It would be nice if there was a leak-free male connector that one could substitute to fix this issue, but I have yet to find one that is guaranteed compatible with this series socket. With that said, once the connection has been made the connection has not leaked during use, and the o-ring would be very easy to replace should it start to leak once seated. The action to seat this into the socket is easy and with a reassuring click. There is no play once seated and it has remained well seated with varying temperatures from -5C to +30C (I have not used it outside of these limits yet).

received incorrect/mislabled version in 2 different shipments
Not as pictured or described, I need 'shutoff' (which this one claims). I have seen others with same complaint. I am not an expert, but I have purchased these elsewhere and received the correct piece. I received a version without the outshutoff tip. The bag has the correct part number, but does not have the nipple above the rubber gasket. That nipple somehow prevents leaks when disconnected. A simple test, trying blowing air through them with mouth, This one lets air go freely (BAD), my old ones, (with nipple),will not let you blow air through unless its coupled with the female version of the fitting. This is useless to me.
