Expensive. Tastes chemically. It’s sitting in the cabinet taking up space.

It’s definitely good quality ingredients. Good, clean protein. However, it’s straight up nasty. To those of you who can just mix it with water and send it back, kudos, you will do well in the apocalypse. Horrible flavor, and you know they know, because they have recipes to make it more appealing. I made the cookie dough from their website… not bad, way better than just the shake by itself. Definitely something to get creative with.

I’ve been working out and taking different protein supplements consistently for about 15 years. I decided to try this brand as a cleaner alternative to the casein I had been taking previously, and there were a lot of reviews on this product saying it tasted great and mixed well enough. I’m pretty sure those are either bots or people who work for this company that wrote them because this has to be the worst tasting protein I have ever had. Mix-ability was horrible. No matter how long I shook it up in my shaker bottles it would always end up chalky feeling. I usually take casein before bed, and the previous brand I was using was great because it would help me fall asleep faster. This does the opposite. After I’ve choked down the bottle of it, I lay in bed bloated for about 30 minutes or so before it finally starts to die down so I can sleep. I bought the chocolate flavor, which is a joke because it doesn’t taste anything like chocolate. Eventually I started mixing my Whey protein with this to help make it drinkable. Honestly pretty annoyed that it only comes in a 5lb container. I would have liked to tried a 1lb bag first to see if it was worth the ~$100 I paid for this. I guess I’ll be forcing this down for the next month and a half or so. I get what the company is trying to do by keeping the ingredient count low, and I do appreciate that, but I would suggest a warning that this is going to be VERY different than any thing you’ve probably used in the past. Don’t let the bot reviews fool you!

Tastes good! Has the just enough of the chocolate flavor. Was easy to mix in the blender. Was easy on my stomach, it didn’t make me gassy or upset my stomach in anyway (which is generally my issue with protein powders). I’m really happy with it! I hope the product has the ingredients it claims. One issue….. does this thing come with a scooper? I can’t find it! 😬 so I’m assuming 3 tablespoons equals one serving size? Please help. Thank you!

I'm ordering another 5lbs of this stuff so I figured I should eat my words and update my previous review. I've grown accustomed to the taste and texture. It's better blended with almond milk, a frozen banana and/or some powdered peanut butter. I've also noticed that blending it takes away most of the gritty texture. My main reason for updating the review and repurchasing is that this is one of the few casein powders I can find without sucralose. Original Review: I normally purchase optimum nutrition naturally flavored casein, but that was out of stock so after reading reviews, I decided to try this. I didn’t expect this to be delicious. That’s really not the point of these products. But now that I’ve tasted it, I deeply regret my $95 decision. This stuff is absolutely awful. It’s has the taste and texture of pure, unflavored, gritty creatine powder and if you haven’t tried that, think sand water. The seller doesn’t offer refunds or exchanges so if anyone wants one for really cheap hit me up and I’ll send you mine. Seriously though, unless you hate yourself, don’t buy this. Try ON Naturally flavored instead.
