Governor spring too weak for a BS 7.25ex mower it barely idles. Swap it to the rusty old one and it runs just fine. I would spend more gas money to return it than the $7 I pay for the springs.

Lower quality and lighter weight than the original springs. Tension was incorrect for both the governor and air vane springs, so auto choke did not work properly. Bought replacements from Amazon… more junk. Finally took the mower to my mechanic and he replaced these with OEM parts. Now my mower runs like new.

Very easy installation and cheapest spring on Amazon. But I should have spent the extra cash to get the exact replacement springs. I had to spend a extra hour just to adjust the springs to get the right resistance to get the motor to run properly. For a few dollars more I could have gotten the oem springs

Doesn't work with the Craftsman model

These looked similar, but did not have the same spring tension as the OEMsprings. Engine would not run correctly until the real springs were installed.Another Chinese knock off that isn’t quite right.

These were not the springs I was looking for. Briggs & Stratton exploded views do not seem to show the throttle return spring I needed, nor have I found a part number. I used one of these springs and had to stretch it out to get the tension I needed to make the mower run properly. It did the trick
