Works perfect
We live in the pigeon forge Tennessee area and have a lot of bears in our area and they work great for keeping them from climbing on our deck. I ordered one a few weeks ago to see how well they work and just ordered 2 more. They are easy to set up. I use 12 gauge bird shot that I cut a hole in the end and dump the shot out to make a blank and it works perfect..

Buy nice or buy twice. This product is the best.
These are American made and work without question. Bought a Chinese version of these trip alarms and none worked.

Will need a little work
It is a solid unit, but must be 'breathed on' a bit to really function as intended. Had to file down the release pin to enable it to slide out. The pin would catch, its surface was rough, making it a significant tug to have it come out. A little emery paper work got it sliding smooth = all set.

High quality item! Perfect for solo camps
I ran my 80 lb string at 50 yards out fully around my camp, looked over at my 5th ops Camp Safe, and said "you take the watch". Then slept.

Fith Safety Alarm
Works as described, several ways to rig it. Depends what result you are looking for But with thought you can rig it several ways. Always us blank cartridges NEVER USE A HUNTING CARTRIDGE.

Great deer repellent
Why did you pick this product vs others?: We use this alarm as a deer repellent, and it works great. Everything else we have tried before would not stop them from eating our fruit trees, but this does. Planning on purchasing several more.
