This woven blanket is one of my favorites. It is softer than I expected - which is a plus. The colors are vibrant and the quality is great.

Mexican falsa blankets are ideal for a yoga studio. They are thicker than most blankets and definitely keep people warm during meditation, which can get chilly if they're really into it. They are also really good to fold up and use as a bolster (under the knee, back, etc).. they are thick enough to kneel on without having weight crunch the blanket into the floor. They keep their shape and keep your knees safe from injury. As a business owner having these will provide me additional comfort in knowing someone is less likely to get hurt.They aren't soft like Sherpa or anything, but they are still really soft. They do not itch at all and when they arrived from shipping they didn't have any type of irritating smell to them which is nice. A part of me was expecting a bad smell lolI ordered 10 of these on saturday, and by Monday (even though it was memorial day) there was a box at my door. I was slightly disappointed to see that only 8 of the 10 were shipped, but I'm expecting the other 2 by tomorrow night. Had I known that were to happen I would have ordered a few different color styles to get them quicker. My account was updated quickly by seller/amazon on when to expect the other 2, I just didn't see it until it was too late to do that. I don't hold fault again st seller or amazon for that, as it was my own timing in checking messages lolThe blankets themselves are beautiful! I'm no expert on mexican falsa blankets but I'm pretty certain that they are authentic. They are soft, warm and add a little extra coziness to a meditation.Anyway I'd recommend these. I searched several different amazon sellers and other websites aside from amazon, looking for the best price with delivery time, as I needed them in a hurry. Buying them from this seller worked out beautifully. You can get these in different sizes, but I needed the larger size as I have some taller clients... For this sized blanket, with the total cost (price plus shipping) and speed of delivery this was the best deal. Even though 2 are arriving later than expected I am pleased with this purchase!Thumbs up all around

Such versatile blankets! Great quality, I ordered two different colors (love them both!) and both sizes are consistent. They are easy to wash which makes them easier to love. Although washing machines can vary home to home, and the differences with each home's preference in detergents and water quality, we washed ours on cold setting, use eco-friendly soap from Trader Joe's and tumbled dry till they were actually dry - not damp. Took them to a concert and one blanket fit 3-4 people with space for food and drinks to sit. We have them for our dog to rest on when she's on the couch, she loves how soft they are too. I've washed mine a handful of times already just from so much use outside the home; great for folding and sharing on a bench (concert, games, etc.). Will definitely expand our collection, very pleased with the quality for the price.

The shipping was fast , and the item was just as described. The blanket is made in Mexico and the color pattern I purchased (rasta colors) is vibrant and bold. I gave it as a gift and the person loved it. The only reason I deducted a star is because the blanket is made of acrylic fibers, rather than traditional wool, so hopefully it will withstand time.

This blanket was a gift for my daughter, who is planning to keep it in her car for trips to the beach, etc. I was excited to find it for under $20! I love how they offer so many color options, be we really only gravitate toward black and grey, so that’s the combo I purchased. I am very happy with the quality. The blanket is thick, but not super heavy. I didn’t notice any bothersome scent when it arrived, but if there was one, it’s certainly gone now after being washed and dried. It held its form fine after washing, and actually softened up a bit, too. I didn’t expect this type of blanket to be soft; I usually think of them as feeling rough, but it’s on the softer side. Makes a great gift, but I would suggest taking it out of its boring plastic bag and tying it up with twine or a ribbon to dress it up.

I am a yoga instructor and these have been great in my class! There were reviews that said some were bad quality, but that has not been my experience at all! They have held up to LOTS of washes. I have had them over 3 months now. I bought 10 of these at once. I chose to buy all assorted since they were for my class and not for me, that way I couldn't be biased as to what colors to buy and it was a slightly cheaper option. I was pleasantly surprised when I got over 5 different colors. All of them were beautiful in there own way! I was worried because they do produce a lot of lint, but I haven't actually recieved a single complaint about it from my clients. These are warm for meditation and savasana. They are easy to fold and manipulate to use as a prop. These have been a great addition to my yoga class, and I often use one for my personal yoga practise as well. Versatile, warm (but not too warm), soft (but not too soft), and overall my favorite purchase for non-Gaiam yoga tools!
