Magnesium Gel

I usually use the cream ,but the gel is nicer, it goes into the skin and disappears without any residual white streaks. Works great to avoid or stop muscle cramps. Good product., it even helps me fall asleep! Happy customer.

Update: i raised my review from 1 star to 4. Since i couldn't return this product I tried using it again. Just be aware that it is concentrated! I still can't let it get on the front of my neck and chest, but have been able to tolerate it on other areas. It really does work but like I said, it's strong and does sting my skin sometimes. That being said, I've used it in my hairline area, at the base of my skull, a couple of times this week and it has gotten rid of the pain that usually goes on to become a migraine. For that reason, I'll keep using it. I'll deal with some stinging for those results. Still leaving one star off my review because its non returnable. Original review: I put a small amount of this on the back of my neck and shoulders. There was an immediate burning and stinging sensation. I quickly got a wet cloth, washed it off, and the stinging went away. Plenty of other people seem love this product but it is definitely not for me and my apparently sensitive skin. Sadly, it is non-returnable, which I did not notice (would not have ordered it), so I'm just out all of that money. 😫

This is great stuff. A terrific way to boost magnesium levels without the laxative effect of taking it orally. You get more usable magnesium into your body by using magnesium gel or oil. I have chronic muscle spasms and the thing that helps the most is this magnesium gel. As other reviews have said, it is drying - it can cause a "rash" from drying out your skin. Each person has a different tolerance because each person has a different level of skin sensitivity. I cannot just put this gel on my skin and leave it all day - it is too much for my sensitive skin. I put it on and wash it off 10-20 minutes later. I can feel it working instantly - I can literally feel it being absorbed into my skin. It is impressive! When I used to get leg cramps at night, I would put this gel on and the cramp would be completely gone within 30 seconds. I don't get cramps anymore because I use this in a regular basis and my magnesium levels have restored to normal levels. Another unexpected benefit of getting my magnesium level back to normal through using this gel is that it had kept gray hairs at bay. Given my family history of going gray early that has all been seen with my siblings, I should have gray hairs by now. All of my friends of the same age do. But not me - not one that I can find. Turns out gray hair can be triggered by a magnesium deficiency - one of the many ways your body uses magnesium is to make your hair colored (not gray). I love this outward sign that I am doing the right thing to keep my magnesium levels in a healthy range. And I have this gel to thank for that!

I have zero experience with magnesium chloride, but, I saw a video where the woman recommended rubbing this exact product on the top of your feet, saying it works wonders as a sleep aid. Actually, she went so far as to say that within 10 minutes, she's out like a light. I wasn't expecting miracles, but, she convinced me that it's at least worth a shot. After reading reviews, I was also convinced that this was worth trying for muscle aches and restless leg syndrome. As soon as I received the product, I applied it to my lower back; immediately, my hands began burning/itching, terribly bad! Same with my back! It stripped my hands and caused them to be painfully dry. The burning/itching on my back lasted for hours. I had hoped it wouldn't have the same effect on my significant other, so that this wouldn't be a waste of money. His reaction was even worse than mine! Crazy. I decided to give it one more try, this time, on the top of my feet, and this time, I squeezed the product directly on my skin, then rubbed it on with a tissue, so that my hands wouldn't have contact with it. My feet began itching and burning, and it didn't even do anything to help aid sleep, or relaxation. It is not a tingling sensation, it is a, pouring salt on an open wound, sensation. In short, I would not recommend this product, ESPECIALLY to those of you that have sensitive skin. As others have previously stated, the texture is terrible. It's like a lightly grainy, lube. It's sticky, greasy, and messy.

My application: Magnesium is the mineral the body uses to relax muscles. Like many other folks, I have been prone to occasional leg cramps, mainly when lying down. So I keep several magnesium products by the bed. Magnesium cream stays put but doesn't soak in unless I rub in magnesium oil at the same time. Magnesium oil tends to run down my leg while I'm applying it. Magnesium gel can be applied without it running away, and soaks in, helping to relieve the cramping. Good product.

I tried the Magnesium "Oil" spray, but found it too messy and drying. And it didn't seem to make much difference (I am using Magnesium topically to address some heart issues.) The first time i applied Life-Flo Magnesium Body Gel, I was surprised at the moisture in the product, because one of the reasons I grew to dislike the Magnesium spray oil was that it was messy and my skin would get very dry. The only thing I don't like is how long my skin feels sticky from this gel, but if it helps with erratic heart issues, it's a small price to pay.

Does not seem to make my arthritis pain any better - I used so much that I had to wash my knees after I massaged it in!!!

Relaxes me for bed, I put it on my feet and let it dry a little, then put my socks on.. I use it when I don't have time for an epsom bath, which is pretty frequent , however it does burn a little, and sometimes makes my feet itchy, so I leave it as long as possible and wash it off if it gets too bad. it helps hubby's leg flinching all night too. Yes I would buy it again, Just be careful if you have sensitive skin, feet might be ok but else where, is trial and error ... overall great product, Thanks!

Beim Magnesiumöl muß man halt wissen, daß es fettig ist (auch wenns vom Grundsatz her gar kein Öl ist). Meine Mutter hat Magnesiummangel, ich habe immer wieder Krämpfe in den Füßen. Weil Magnesium oral eingenommen, Durchfälle verstärken kann und die Magnesium Lutschtabletten 3-5 mal am Tag gelutscht werden sollen - darauf vergesse ich immer - sind diese Magnesium Sprays deutlich besser. Mutter hat "wild herum gesprüht", also sie konnte nicht genau sehen, wohin diese Sprühstöße genau gingen und es war einiges am Mobiliar und Teppich dann "magnesiumreich". Ich habe ihr daher dieses Gel bestellt und damit kann sie deutlich besser umgehen. Das trägt sie dort auf, wo sie meint und es paßt. Wie bei diesen Magnesiumsprays und -gels üblich, kann es an einem Tag prickeln und man wischt es nach 10-20 Minuten wieder runter und an einem anderen Tag spürt man gar nichts davon. Das gehört dazu. Wenn meine Sprühfläschchen aus sind, nehme ich auch dieses Gel. Sprüher sind für unterwegs vielleicht angenehmer. Von der Wirkung kann ich noch nichts sagen, denn Mutter verwendet das Produkt nun schon einige Zeit lang und hat wöchentliche Blutabnahme. Hier hat sich noch nichts beim Magnesium gebessert oder wertmäßig gezeigt. Ich selbst merke, daß bei regelmäßiger Anwendung die Krämpfe weniger werden. Wenn ich eine Zeitlang drauf verzichte, sind die Krämpfe wieder da. Ich hoffe, das Produkt hilft wirklich und es ist nicht ein Placebo Effekt, den ich habe.
