Acoustic Audio AA321B Mountable Indoor Speakers 400 Watts Black Bookshelf Pair

Unlike some other reviewers, I'm not a professional audiophile, just a regular person that was looking for some cheap speakers that would work well for a home radio that I play every morning. These speakers work, they're clear, get more than loud enough, take up no room (almost literally), and are easy on the bank account. So, when looking for something for the common person, they would do you well.

Not bad at all! After upgrading from a 5.1 Onyko to a Sony 7.2 I needed another pair to add on. I currently have JBLs and these didn’t sound too far off from those. In terms of build quality they are almost identical. The highs and mids are clear using 14 gauge speaker wire. Don’t hear any distortion, muffling or static. Having needed these for just that it, gets the job done! They really helped add that extra dimension of sound offered by a 7.1 or 7.2 setup w/ 360 audio or Dolby Atmos. Little to no bass but these aren’t built for that. That’s what a subwoofer is for. So if you need to replace a pair of satellite speakers or add on to a current setup but don’t wanna break the bank, these do great! Obviously if you’re an audiophile you’ll wanna spend some extra coins. But even then, I think at this price point they would appreciate what these little guys can do.

cant complain about the price, surprising part is they are LOUD and they are not just focused on the highs. it's very much a full-spectrum driver. of course the speaker is so small you're not going to get any bass out of it, but it does an admirable job at spreading out the sound. i'm not sure their preferred use - maybe rear surrounds. i have them as directional support for some bookshelf speakers just for fun and i like the results. they feel and operate very solidly, i have to laugh at the 200W rating but they really dont rattle and they will push a lot of air!

Got a Pioneer turntable and an Onkyo amplifier in a Dusty old garage. I have dozens and dozens of albums from the 1950s-1970s. I bought these little speakers and hooked them up. I couldn't believe how good they sound and how small they are. I'm excited to listen to all this old music! All you need is speaker wire. :)

These speakers are AWESOME! I cannot begin to tell you the difference these speakers has made for my computer desktop sound system. I purchase the Logitech Z-2300 sound system some years ago. These speaker are far superior than the ones that came my Logitech Z-2300. In summary,when the speakers on my Logitech Z-2300 gave out, I purchase another Logitech sound system and returned it because of the inferior sound quality. I paid $160.00 for that system and was thoroughly disappointed. I compared the specifications of these speakers with those in my local computer store. I noticed that most of the speakers in the store are only about 15-30 watts per channel. These speakers are 100 watt per channel. The watts makes a huge difference. When I finally received these speakers, I used the existing cord that went from my sub woofer to the left and right speakers. Once I had disassembled the old speakers, I cut the wire at the soldering points on the speakers. Once the wires were clipped, I pulled the wire out of the old speaker casing. Then I strip the end of the wires and plug them into these new speakers. The sound is crystal clear. Another thing that I like about these speaker is that I get great sound quality without having to turn the volume all the way up. I spent $28.88 for these speakers. I am very pleased to say the least. There was only one thing that I considered a negative: The exterior of the speakers feel very rough to the touch. You would expect the finish to be smooth. This is only a minor concern. The speakers look great with my existing system and as I already stated, the sound quality is excellent. I hope this review helps you in making your decision to buy.

Not what I expected, very small speakers with poor sound quality, in my opinion.

Wow is what I have to say about these speakers. I ordered these having little faith in how good they were considering the price point. I was blown away how good these were. First off, I was expecting a plastic speaker box, nope solid wood. Pressboard but its wood. Wood vs Plastic.. Wood always has better acoustics. I can turn up the volume up pretty high and I do not get any distortion or any vibrations (as you would with plastic) I bought these to use with a cheap Yamaha S202 basic receiver in my bedroom. Mostly to watch TV in bed at a low volume using the A/B speaker selection so a set of speakers near the head of the bed would activate. I bought two sets of these. One for the front and one for the back. They work perfectly for this application, voices and music are clear and can be heard at low volumes. My only real complaint is that there's virtually no bass at all with these. I don't mind too much with my bedroom TV application, but would not work where music was the primary source (unless you don't listen to music with any bass). But its not really a good complaint because these work fabulous as satellite speakers with a 5.1, you would just need to add a seperate bass kicker. Overall, these are a great buy for price point, and I will probably buy a few more to finish out my 'whole house' audio system and use these speakers in each room.

Loved the small size and the price can’t be beat! These require either loose/cut-to-size speaker wire or something with a pin plug. I purchased a “Banana Plug to Pin Type Plug” to wire everything up to my record player that accepts banana-type plug. Unfortunately, I did end up returning these due to hearing a tinny edge to the sound—which I didn’t think I’d notice, but I did. For the cost though, these are phenomenal and they don’t sound bad, they just aren’t for the discerning ear.
