The Magical Household: Spells & Rituals for the Home (Llewellyn's Practical Magick) [Cunningham, Scott, Harrington, David] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Magical Household: Spells & Rituals for the Home (Llewellyn's Practical Magick) Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 out of 5 stars – A Beautiful and Practical Guide for a Magickal Home - The Magical Household: Spells & Rituals for the Home is such a wonderful addition to my spiritual and magickal book collection. It’s filled with practical, intentional ways to protect, cleanse, and maintain the energy of your home, blending everyday rituals with meaningful magickal practice. I especially love how accessible and down-to-earth the advice feels—it’s both useful and inspiring for anyone looking to create a more sacred space. I originally purchased a used copy that was listed as “like new,” but it arrived with some yellowing and wear on the spine. Because I enjoyed the content so much, I decided to order another copy in better condition for my collection. The second copy was older, but had more beautiful illustrations and was in much better condition. I ultimately view it as a win! Despite the minor issue with the first purchase, this book itself is absolutely worth owning. It’s a timeless, insightful resource for anyone who wants to bring intention, balance, and positive energy into their home. Review: A Nice Introduction to Folk Magic - Written by Scott Cunningham and David Harrington, “The Magical Household: Spells & Rituals for the Home,” shows how everyone’s often mundane homes—whether they’re farmsteads, city apartments, suburban lots, or even tents—is, or can be, magical. In nineteen chapters, the authors explain how folk magic was, and can continue to be, used. This book is part of Llewellyn’s Practical Magick Series and is elementary for beginners of any age. I live on my family’s farm and make all of my family’s quilts, so I was delighted to discover that the authors included information about quilts and quilting, saying that, “…There is magic in quilts. Tradition says they should be washed in melted snow to ensure that their deceased makers rest gently in the hereafter…” This book was informative and really easy to read. I consider this book to be introductory reading for folk magic.

Thank you, Mr. Cunningham!
Just when you think you have all of Scott Cunningham‘s books, I find this one in the archives, and naturally this is a reprint, but it is a first addition it’s in its 36th printing! It’s an excellent tome to have on hand so you’re able to know how to clean your house in a more ritualistic and spiritual way. I love how you can balance the feng shui.

I found this book to be a good read, full of practical uses for things in our home, easy to follow spells and informative history lessons. I am looking forward to working with a bunch of the spells written this this book, especially ones that protect my home from negative energy and entities, the use of symbols, mirrors, witches salt, etc. Scott Cunningham has written many useful, well written books on a variety of topics, many of which I own and plan on purchasing. This book is a must for witches just starting out on their magickal path. You won't be disappointed.

Wiccan Magick!
I have always loved Llewellyn and Scott Cunningham for their insightful rituals and spells. It's difficult to write your own as you always need to be clear as to your intentions. Not always easy but this makes it thus. All our homes need our spells and rituals (Sabbats and other special occasions for rituals and daily spells). I find they work if you make your intentions clear to the Goddess(es) or God(s). This book is great for not only the spells and rituals that it provides but for assistance in making your own. As a Wiccan/Pagan, it is invaluable. Loved every line of it and the help that it gave me.
