We gave this to our daughter right before her appointment to get her first hearing aids (5y). She absolutely loved it and the audiologist had to show the entire office! Everyone has said it’s incredible to have Barbie’s who look like themselves. Representation is so important especially for children. Thank you.

I do like the fact that this Barbie addresses hearing impaired individuals, that is the major plus, however the doll sports that all too familiar strained, fake smile that I really find offputting. Many (most) of the newer Barbies have this look, almost cartoonish and it's hardly flattering. Several years back, even the basic playline dolls were quite pretty, now that is hard to find. I'm very happy to see Mattel addressing various body types/issues/etc, but it seems like it has forfeited basic quality as a trade-off. Not so, Mattel, you CAN have both.

I spent $26 the other day on this item and cried like a baby. Finally a Barbie that looks like me! Most people have no idea how isolating being hearing impaired is, it’s like your whole life you have this thing in your ears that tells you, you’re different. You’re not like everybody else and as a young child finding out I was hearing impaired, It was horrible for me! So to see this this makes me so very happy! Thank you Mattel

Me encanta esta muñeca y la lleve al cole de mis hijos y fue una sensación . En mi casa mi marido es ciego y en silla de ruedas y siempre buscamos muñecos afines nuestras circunstancias y cuando los vemos no dudamos un segundo en comprarlos, ya era hora. Necesitamos mas muñecos inclusivos, es la mejor manera de normalizar, lo que por otro lado ya es normal
