I received these hangers yesterday. They are made from cedar, so it’s understandable that they’re not as durable as something made with a hard wood, but one of the hangers broke in my hand as I was pulling it out of the box it was shipped in. The break occurred through the center of a knot in the wood. It was a clean break and happened without much pressure. I believe there was a defect in the cedar and the hanger was not damaged in shipping. Given the price per hanger, I am disappointed that I received one that was defective but won’t return them unless more break within the return window. Overall, the quality is inconsistent. The hangers don’t swivel easily, and the cedar is not well sanded, so there is a chance of snagging more delicate shirts on the hangers’ rough edges. Based on my initial experience, I would not recommend purchasing these hangers. — update: I was offered a full refund due to a hanger being broke, which was very generous considering they didn’t require I return all hangers. This positive customer service experience improved my review from 2 stars to 4 stars.
