Review: Enjoyable Read! - I pre-ordered this book in desertcart Kindle and it was automatically delivered to me on the day of the launch. Such joy, joy, joy! This is is probably the only book (aside from Harry Potter books) which I read and devoured on the first day. It was back to Singapore again with the Young-Shang-T'sien clan because Grandmummy Su Yi had a heart attack. We were introduced to new characters like Auntie Cat (the Thailand Youngs) and her family, and some other secondary and tertiary characters. The book revolved around Shang Su Yi (and her back story), Astrid & Charlie, Nick & Rachel, and the Young sisters. Kitty and her new found wealth also played a big role in the story. This is a very good and enjoyable read that will take the readers back to the excessive and extravagance spending of the Asian rich. Though I must admit that the characters on the third book are less "severe" in spending compared to the first two books. I loved this better than the second book (China Rich Girlfriend) because I loved Nick's family and their craziness better than the drama of Rachel's family. I have some questions about this book and I hope that Kevin Kwan will keep writing about these lively Asian characters that we all come to love. Special shout out for the mentions aabout Philippines and our gorgeous Palawan islands and beaches. Funny though that he mentioned "Diego San Antonio" and "Tommy Yip" in the book. Everyone who's anyone in the Philippines knows who these characters are. Another fun read! Thanks, Kevin Kwan! We want more!
Review: One of my favorite series! - I love these books. I know I say that for just about every book review but they are so good. The characters are hilarious and easy to get emotionally attached too. At one point I wanted to just die for poor Rachel dealing with Nicks mom. I couldn’t believe what she did and I laughed so hard. This book is a little bit more emotional because there is a death but no spoilers and I was truly sad but happy with the ending. I want another one! I need more of Astrid and I want the next chapter for Rachel and Nick. These books are easy to read and lots of fun and that’s why I enjoy them so much!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rich People Problems

I have been a big fan of Kevin Kwan since his first book, Crazy Rich Asians, which was published in 2013. Needless to say, I was very excited about the opportunity to read the third installment of the series- Rich People Problems. As the story resumes, beloved matriarch Sun Yi falls ill, and her large extended family flies in from around the world, although it remains to be seen whether they arrive out of filial obligation or because they hope to inherit Tyersall Park, the family compound. Let’s be honest with each other: it’s mostly the latter. Tolstoy said that “each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way”, and this is certainly the case. Prepare yourself for over the top antics as everyone vies for a portion of the estate- never mind that Sun Yi has not actually passed away yet. Rich People Problems capitalizes on the key points that made the first two books successful: name-dropping of designer brands and mouth-watering descriptions of food. There are several different storylines happening simultaneously, but of course, they all center around the aforementioned soap opera antics. I would recommend Rich People Problems. I would suggest reading the first two books before tackling this one so that you have a full appreciation of the family dynamic and the numerous ensemble characters. This is a light book (with the exception of one plotline) and it was a fun read. The end of the book leaves the possibility for another entry in the series- perhaps in 2019?- one can only hope! Even if this is to be the end of the series, I am looking forward to the Crazy Rich Asians movie!
