Extremely lightweight, smells excellent and has great hold. I am going on one week with my barrel twist and it’s not a flake in sight. My stylist was initial skeptical when I brought it in, but midway through she commented how good the hold was after it began to dry. This is the best loc gel I have experienced thus far.

I had been having such a hard time getting the baby hairs to stay when I crocheted them in my locs. I had thought about getting wax to hold it in. I finally settled on this. As I was immensely worried about product build up. This stuff is everything I hoped it would be. It smells so nice! It has a slightly tacky hold. But no build up. It's keeping the baby hairs stuck in the locs, instead of them pulling right back out and being frizzy. It washes out nicely, again, with no residue. It's got an almost watery texture that makes it so nice to help when you're crocheting your locs. I can't rave on this enough. Locsanity is now my fav loc product line. You could use this on the entire length of your locs if you wanted to and it wouldn't leave buildup.

This product does smell great and it works well. It is also sticky on your hands and on application. Once my hair dried, it was not sticky. It does have a harder gel like hold but I feel like it has tamed my frizzy locs! I also purchased the mousse and it helped to soften up the hard gel feel (though the mousse has a more lasting stickiness to it :-/). I love how my locs look (root to end) with this product!

Smells really good. Nice consistency. Does seem to tame the frizziness. Doesnt seem to leave residue in my dreads
