FPT automatic inline sprinkler valve (model 57280) is the standard valve in Orbit heavy-duty preassembled manifolds and one of the most widely used inline valves in residential irrigation.This valve has 3/4 in. female pipe thread (FPT) connections on both ends. It is not compatible with standard garden hose threads. If your system requires 1 in. FPT, order model 57281.Note for customers replacing an older green Orbit valve: the L-Series body is slightly shorter than earlier green Orbit models such as the 57100. When swapping in-ground, plan for a short pipe extension to bridge the difference.The 24 VAC solenoid is compatible with all major irrigation controllers.
