I first bought this product a few years ago and recently rediscovered it — I forgot how much I loved it until I started using it again. It’s excellent for smoothing out frizz and softening waves without leaving that stiff, heavy feeling that some products do. If you have curls, this won’t fully straighten them (and honestly, at this point nothing really will), but it does make hair look polished, soft, and natural not like you’ve weighed it down with a “straightening” product. I also appreciate that it doesn’t leave any residue or crunchy texture. I tried the trial size this time, and after using it again I’ll definitely be buying the full size. I love this product. I am getting older (53) along with my hair. It is not as thick as it once was. My hair is very long. Comes down to my waist. This product was introduced by my hairdresser. It softness my hair, frizz control and most important it helps to protect my hair from heat. I have used all kinds of products and for the last 5 years this is the best..

Worked well after figuring out how much to use. Doesn’t leave my hair as shiny as the old formula, so I use Aveda Brilliance now, too. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when I’m on the humid east coast this summer.
