Pregnancy headaches are no joke, and there are very few options available for relief. This is not a magic cure all, but definitely does provide some relief and can alleviate at least some of your pain. I used this constantly in my first trimester all over my forehead, temples, and back of neck. The smell is not overpowering but definitely noticeable and the cooling sensation is what really does the trick.

Will never stop buying. I suffer from migraines. I cannot begin to describe how much this oil has helped me. As soon as I fee one start, I’ll whip this baby out and roll it on my neck, my temples, and my forehead. Within 15 minutes, the pain abates. I’ll even rub some under my nose to get a strong whiff. Maybe it’s a placebo effect, but I’m convinced smelling the oils helps it work faster. It’ll tingle a bit after application, but boy will you feel better. I love that it’s compact. I carry one in my purse, and have one in my medicine cabinet. I’ve even used it on friends for their headaches. It isn’t limited to migraines. Love this miracle oil.

Let me begin by explaining that I think Amazon knows more about us than we realize, or they just mistakenly sent me a package that ended up keeping me out of the emergency room. I originally got this in the mail, from Amazon, not having ordered it. I don’t know if it was given to me as a gift. It had no mailing slip in the envelope, nothing. Just the product itself, and no communication indicating it was given to me for review, and no order history of it online, and thus no option to review. That kind of freaked me out. But Amazon did me right with this, because now I’m keeping one in my bedroom, my partner’s bedroom, my purse, my car, and probably having one put in my casket. I have migraine headaches, and maybe amazon somehow knew that. I get about two a week. I wouldn’t wish them on anyone. I get auras, excruciating pain, and frequently, nausea. I usually handle them by taking about 1600 mg of ibuprofen along with a Benadryl so that I can sleep it off. But I inevitably ended up getting a headache, and with my migraine headaches, I’ll take anything short of arsenic if it might help the pain. Sometimes arsenic seems more appealing than the headache, actually. So I gave this roller thing a shot, and I’m glad I did This product is amazing. So amazing that I had to buy a second tube and leave a review. I’ve never taken it alone (as in, not alongside medication), so I can’t give it 5 stars because I can’t imagine it would cure a migraine headache on its own. However, when I usually take my normal migraine medication, I have to spend about an hour more in agony waiting for it to kick in. This changed all that. I applied it behind my neck, to my temples, under my nose (do not recommend putting it under the nose if you have migraine headaches worsened by smells) then lay down in the tub with the shower on so the room got steamy. Instant relief. It felt like I’d put IcyHot to my temples, and I could feel what can only be described as my headache melting away. Then I had a comfortable, cool sensation on the areas applied. The smell is great too! It says it’s peppermint, spearmint, and lavender essential oils in a coconut oil, so be careful of any allergy issues. I also wonder if the smell may act as a natural insect repellent. I’m going to test that and update. The cooling sensation lasted after the headache was gone, which was actually refreshing during what I call the “migraine hangover”- the exhausted, drained feeling that you’re left with when the headache is leaving your body. It was nice, because the smell gave me more energy. Long story short: great product; probably better as a supplement to medication than a substitute for it.

I've bought it twice and I always carry it with me in my bag and I also keep it on my nightstand because I suffer from migraines. I love the smell as well as how effective it is; it's very relaxing, it absorbs into the skin immediately, it's not sticky, its essence is incredible, I will continue buying it as long as I need it.

I have dealt with a migraine for so long and treatments haven’t been helpful yet. I so wish somebody would’ve told me about this long ago. I was tired of trying to be hopeful than not having it make any difference. This is my absolute go to. I wish all the doctors would tell people about it. If you have a regular headache or constant migraine, it will make a huge difference in your pain, I also love the fact that I can carry it with me so that I can still do things and lessen my pain when I use it. Try it!

I really wanted to love the Basic Vigor Migrastil Migraine Stick Roll-On, especially as a chronic migraine sufferer. It’s marketed as providing fast cooling comfort, but in my experience, it didn’t deliver the relief I was hoping for. It feels more like the strong scent and slight tingling on the skin act as a distraction from the pain rather than providing any real therapeutic benefit. The effect is temporary and doesn’t really address the migraine itself. Overall, it’s okay as a mild sensory distraction, but it didn’t work as well as I expected based on other reviews, and I wouldn’t rely on it for meaningful migraine relief.
