At what point does a simple stone qualify as a 'gemstone' when it's cut? These seem more stone than gem.

Well I have to see your samples I like to say when you were young you maybe skip rocks on a lake to see the ripples now that you're older you skipping rocks made of precious semi precious stones to have ripples of emotions in people.

Can I seal these manufactured emeralds so they won’t transfer color to the skin?

If you do anything to the stone it should be only cleaning with cotton cloth and a light mineral oil and use a magnifying app to look at the stones.
