I have a closet window that faces out to a main road and this is a perfect solution to my inconvenient problem. I love that it still lets in the light but I can still keep my privacy. It was Super easy to install, and has stayed on very well, I have not had any issues with peeling or coming off in any way. I just moved into this house and so I get to show off my rooms and I have gotten so many compliments on this window.

This film offers an awesome protection. It prevents the light from coming in at the high brightness that it normally does. It helps keep the room cooler. I used some window cleaner to adhere it to the window. I used a small plastic card to press out the bubbles and it stayed on nicely. The adhesion was great. It looks great on the window also. I trimmed it up with a sharp instrument.

We have been using static film for window and door treatment for years. This brand is perfect in weight and design. After years of using a few of my tips might help those who have never used this type of product: There IS a clear film attached even if you can’t see it. It must be removed. First measure the window, then cut, THEN flick one corner of your cut piece back and forth (in good light) and in a few minutes the clear backing will begin to lift from the corner. Then you can peel it. I clean and dry the surface glass with an alcohol/water spray. I mist spray the window lightly and do a few mists of water on the vinyl itself front and backside. Don’t overdo the water. Start at the top of the window and begin to place it and smooth it. I use a shower type rubber squeegee and a soft towel. Pay attention to the edges. If the vinyl does not meet the glass the vinyl will NOT lay smooth. Bubbles appear when the water has no where to go and stays under the vinyl. Use the razor edge to make certain the vinyl is exact in cut and is in contact with the window. I leave a hair’s length of space between the vinyl and the edge of the window so the water gets sqeezed out easily. I hope this helps. It is a good product. For total privacy use the frosted type and it will look like glass. I even have used the mirror type on a cabinet so it looked like a mirrored door. Endless possibilities.

Our main front door has glass; to have the glass frosted would have cost us $$$, but I decided to buy the Frosted Glass Window Film to add privacy to our home, and I'm very happy with the results. Installing it was easy, and the film completely changed the look of the glass at our front door. It gives us the privacy we want while letting natural light brighten the room. The frosted effect looks modern and stylish, and the quality impressed me. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to increase privacy without sacrificing style.

DO NOT BUY!!! I applied this per instructions, which was easy. Everything looked good and was fine for a few days until the corners started to come loose. Now half of it is hanging off. Does not stick or stay.

This was easy to install. And did exactly as described. It really is a total blackout film. On the outside it just like the bedroom lights never come on. Very private!

First, the product works very well. Easy to cut to size and install, and it completely blocks out light. I installed the product on a double hung window with 6" x 9" grids, so I cut a total of 12 pieces. I had a self-healing cutting pad that helped keep the product in place when I cut the pieces to fit, but you could also tape down a corner or two to prevent movement while cutting. Leave the backing on the product while cutting. Use a sharp box cutter or razor and a ruler to keep lines straight while cutting. Clean your window glass before applying the product. Per the instructions provided, after removing the clear product backing I sprayed a mixture of water and dish soap (12 oz spray bottle with 3 drops of soap) on the back of the product and on the window. A plastic collar stiffener from an old office shirt helped me start to lift a corner of the backing off without damaging the product, but you could use any blunt item. A small window squeegee smoothed out the occasional air bubble after the product was on the window, but you could use a small ruler or credit card. Not necessary, but my Bosch laser measure provided accurate dimensions for cutting to size. Hope this was helpful.

. I ordered this thinking that it would just give minimal privacy and probably be pretty flimsy because of the price. However, I was very surprised because quality is excellent and I feel like the privacy is. I live on the second floor and from the inside and out I definitely feel that people cannot stay straight at me when I have the curtains open lol This is so easy to put up took like no time the only part of installation that required any effort was measuring. What it hears to the window great. And when I miss positioned one, it was super easy to pull it off and do it again.
