We got this for my mother in law that has dementia. She never charges it. We have to make sure we charge it at least every other day. It usually works well. Once it showed she had left her house while we were away at a nearby appointment. She actually didn't leave her yard. We reviewed her security cameras. We don't know why it showed that. She accidentally calls my husband several times a day by bumping the son button. She can't hear us when we try to talk to her through the necklace. It has given us a sense of extra security.
