Yes, if you need an adapter, this one has worked great for us. The following is unnecessary but feel free to read if you’re bored lol. We recently acquired a very nice and highly sought after digital piano. I’d been hoping to find a good offer for one for at least 2 years, and sure enough it recently and finally fell into our laps, figuratively speaking. One of the main reasons I desired a full weighted digital piano was because any one of us could practice without the whole house hearing us, whether making mistakes or playing perfect. I had just the right pair of headphones for it... only, —-the standard headphone jack would not work at all.—- The jack for inputting headphones in to the piano was far too wide and wouldn’t connect. I scoured both eBay and Amazon in hopes of finding one that would make the connection. I educated myself on the different types of adapters as much as I could. I didn’t realize just how many there were. After reading and more reading, and a few explanations on a certain video site, I decided to take my chances. It fit perfect, both into the piano as well as the 3.5mm fitting into the adapter. Now my family and I can practice at any time without the whole house listening, little ones waking up or being annoyed by mistakes (even though making mistakes helps you learn), and whoever is using the piano can play without feeling embarrassed when they mess up. We also use tutorials on a certain popular tube video site, using regular earbuds connected to the ipad. So the big, large over the ear headphones can be plugged into the adapter on the digital piano, and let you listen to the piano yourself, while 1 earbud goes into 1 ear from a tablet, to receive the lesson . So it’s a great adapter. I not only recommend this adapter if needed, but also recommend that other people, or their children if they have any, looking to play an instrument - to look into digital pianos. As long as the piano is at least 74 keys, and that they are weighted keys just like a normal piano, this is a wonderful introduction to children into something art related . It most certainly can’t hurt and I have seen completely working digital pianos from 76 up to 88 keys, sell for as low as $75 and others that go for as much as several thousand. But remember to check the size of the headphone shack.
