Fixed My Trunk!
My trunk had a problem - it wouldn't open. I could tap the unlock button on my FOB, or press the unlock button within the car and NADA, it would keep shut. I thought it was the actuator at first so I replaced that to no avail.I purchased this new switch operator, replaced the old one, and it worked like a charm. Completely good to go.

Fixed 2014 Subaru crosstrek
Fixed my 2014 Subaru crosstrek hatch back. Been down for about a year. Got this part and fixed it right away. WS a relief to have my hatch back. 10/10😄

Perfect Replacement
My trunk release button on my Crosstrek got worn down to the plastic and the rubber was coming off sticky to the touch. I suspect it's the same part for various Subarus (Crosstrek, Impreza, Forester). Swapped this out in ~20-30 minutes with common garage hand tools.

My latch had been unable to open, after ordering this part I was able to skip a trip to Subaru dealer who wanted to charge me $150 an hour for this $37 part. Highly recommend you check your latch switch before taking your vehicle to the dealer, it’s an easy replacement and watched a quick YouTube tutorial to swap out.
