Just what I needed!
Delivery was very fast and cable is great. Quality, price, sound and durability are perfect so far. I would buy this again (but I don’t think I’ll need to, this is built to last)! I’m pretty tough on my cables and need good ones. I recommend this to anyone looking for this type of cable.

Built very well. Wish it was about a foot longer for easier rear seat use, but a pretty good product regardless.
Build quality seems very good; cable feels sturdy, as do the connectors and sleeves around them. We toss them around and accidentally yank them out all the time and they still hold up almost a year later with no visible wear or performance loss (I'll edit when they finally go bad). At this price it is a steal anyway.Note that we do not accidentally yank them out because they do not fit well. When we insert them into their respective jacks, you feel like they're plugged in good. They are not quite long enough for people in the rear sets to use conveniently (assuming the aux jack is on the front panel), but we can operate them. I would have liked if this cable was a foot longer.Of course, some cars have a rear auxiliary port which can be used. Depending on the set up, it would allow people in the rear and front seats to use the device just fine. Unfortunately, this cable does not work with ours. I'm assuming it is an issue with the car's port itself, because the cable clearly works fine up front.Where I'm from, we don't get scorching, blinding days. Even still, the cable is protected so I can only presume that it will be safe to leave out in the sun for a while.I would recommend these to anybody who just needs to get an auxiliary cable for their device. It's cheap, it's built well, and it just works. That's all that matters.

Kensington Car Audio AUX Cable for iPhone/iPod
This is just an ordinary cable. The difference ALL such 3.5 male-male cables is purely aesthetic. I posses 5 of them, two came free long time ago with computer monitors and three more, including this, I purchased a week ago to satisfy my curiosity. They all sound the same - badly. What is worse - they require / allow sound adjustment on iDevice and on stereo, reproducing the sound. None of them provides (can provide) protection from car alternator noise when used during charging. Why I got these cables? - Just looking for a "perfect murder". What is really important - right length. My free cables were way too long - 5 feet. I got InCarCables Car Stereo 1 ft (30 cm), InCarCables Car Stereo 1.6 ft (50 cm) and this Kensington Car Audio AUX Cable for iPhone/iPod 4 feet (120 cm). 4 ft is clearly too long an irritates me. 1 ft is the best, but you can't really move the iDevice anywhere, 1.6 ft is the best from the point of view of length - it allows you to move the device reasonable freely and does not run around the car at the same time. Once again - they ALL SOUND BADLY. How do I know? When I purchased these 3 guys, I already had Black USB 3.5mm JACK Car AUX Audio/Charger/sync Connector for iPod, iPhone: [...], which is currently $6.53 and sounds perfectly, but once again - it is 4 feet long and it is a double cable - too many wires running around you, so I kept looking for "short and good", which did not happen. There are plenty conversation on a one subject: charging and listening at the same time. This depend on the car. First I used iPod in a rented Mazda. I was able to charge and listen at the same time. Mazda had 2nd cigarette power outlet, which is hidden under driver's arm rest. IT IS DESIGNED FOR ELECTRONIC AND PROTECTED FROM ALTERNATOR NOISE. This outlet is powered even if car is not running and the key is out. My Scion has no such outlet and I can charge OR listen. Listening during charging is possible, but road noise is more pleasurable. Pick your poison.

Kensington Car Audio AUX cable for iPhone/iPod including 5S
I bought a new iPhone 5S and of course, put a case on it. Almost immediately, it became quite clear that my previous cord that I used to connect to my car stereo system was not going to work, the plug was too fat to fit in the space allowed by the case! So, as I looked at cords on Amazon I found this one and decided to give it a try. Here is what I liked: 1. First and foremost, the cord has two identical connectors with one exception, one of them has a very thin case!! This end fits perfectly in several of the cases that I have for my iPhone 5S!!! No more bad connections or fighting with it to fit. 2. The cord is long enough to easily connect to my iPhone and to the console connection point in the car and still allow me to place the phone some place safe. 3. The cord works perfectly!!What I did not like: 1. The material that the cord is made from has a strange texture to it. Not really a problem, but not something that I expected. All in all, this cord performs exactly as I had hoped it would. If you have a phone case that does not allow a standard width connector, than this might be perfect for you as well.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
O.K. so here's my experience. First off, I am not electronically inclined. I purchased an IPOD Touch and wanted to be able to use it in my truck with the AUX cable hook-up. I asked my tech savvy friend what kind of cable I should get. He told me not to pay more than a dollar for one because he could find me a cable for mere cents on EBAY. Of course I jumped at this opportunity. The cable arrived to me in about 5-6 weeks(I'm not exaggerating). The reason for that I came to find out was that it was shipped in a plastic bag from China. O.K, that's fine. When i went to first use it, it worked fine. About two days later, it started malfunctioning to the point that I just ripped the cable out the jack and threw it out the window (into a trash can of course).I then attempted to order another cable of the same price from China again. I thought I just had originally gotten a bad cable. The same problems arose with this new cable and he soon joined his buddy in the neighborhood trash can. Finally, I said enough is enough. I found this cable on amazon and it had received good reviews. So i forked out the $8 for it and am so happy I did. The sound quality between this cable and the ones from China is night and day. There's no static at all. I highly recommend this product. Don't be cheap like I was. Just fork over the very reasonable $8 and you won't have to go through all the trouble I did just to get quality sound from your IPOD. TRUST ME!!!
