A: Hello, the output is 500 mA.  It is an AC/DC adaptor with input 120V AC 60 Hz and output 6V DC 500 mA. Its a class 2 power unit.

**Q: When plugged in the outlet,  does this adapter interfere with plugging in a cord in the other part of the outlet?**
A: No, the adapter is designed to fit in the bottom outlet leaving the top one accessible.  Good thinking on the engineer's part!

A: The cord is 70 inches.  The adapter itself is 2 1/2 inches in length.
