I've been feeding freeze dried chicken for most of my dogs life. It's the perfect treat, no carbs at all....and my dog loves it. I can give her as much as I want without worrying about the impact on her health. I've tried a lot of different brands and settled on Cat Man Doo after calling and talking to the owner who took time to explain their process and it made me feel so safe that I will not buy any other brand. This is made and sourced in the USA and they are a small business with attention to detail. This can be fed out of the bag or you can rehydrate it to feed like a moist piece of chicken breast. It only takes a few seconds to rehydrate. I've actually tasted it myself and it's almost not distinguishable from fresh boiled chicken breast when it's rehydrated. We keep some of this in a glass candy dish for treats whenever want to give her one. She always gets a few at bedtime. These are a good size and can be broken into smaller pieces but are easy enough for her to crunch up. We love these Thanks for reading my review Becky Brooks

My two cats know what the yellow bag is and go absolutely bananas when I even get close to the cabinet where I keep these. Ive tried the salmon and chicken but it seems only the chicken are their favorites. I also take these to a feral cat community where I volunteer and one of the cats also knows the yellow bag and follows me around until I give him one or two. Happy to give these cats a natural treat that they really enjoy. They certainly are pricey compared to other treats, but what price happiness?

My cat is absolutely obsessed with these treats! I initially purchased them because they’re made in the USA, which is important to me. The only downside is that they’re quite expensive, and there’s often a fair amount of crumbled pieces at the bottom from the dehydrated treats.

If I am looking for my kitties, all I have to do is shake the bag and they come running. I’m happy to have a healthy treat that they love.

I use this dehydrated chicken treat as a reward when I am training my dog. He has various food intolerances, but these seem to be fine for him. He loves the treats and will work hard to earn them. I like that I can break off very small bits for him quickly and that they are greaseless. One problem with them, as others have noted, is that a significant portion (~15%) is just powdered residue from the pieces in the bag. This used to really frustrate me, but I found a solution that works very well for me. I decant this powder into an empty plastic margarine tub. I then shake out maybe an eighth of a teaspoonful to use as treats and rewards. My dog is as satisfied with a small serving of this powdered chicken as he is with getting a chunk of chicken, so none of the powder goes to waste and the product lasts MUCH longer. The chicken is extremely crumbly, so when I break off a chunk, I do this over the plastic container.

I tried other brands, but the cats love this one best. I use it as a topping for their wet food. Oedipuss won't eat if I forget. What does longevity have to do with cat treats?
