This is a great security device for the price and function. Do yourself a favor: get the 6-pack of replacement batteries (style: 23A, 12volt) - which will last around 6 to 9 months, depending on use, and super easy to replace. (Cost approx. $5 on Amazon). Example: my front door last 8 months. Other: stop leaving product reviews on Amazon with no details. I had to hunt for the battery style, which is the manufacturer's fault. But, there were several complaints about battery life and no mention of the fix. Overall pretty good product, I put it on 2 sliders and have 2 sensors that alarm upstairs and downstairs. I have no idea how you would attach this to regular door, this really only works for sliders and windows in my opinion. It was sort of tricky to get it to pair but eventually we got it.

We installed the system on three doors. It is a very easy set up plug-in play. Very user-friendly setting the multiple alert tones. The range is fantastic We have one of the receivers approximately 200 feet away and so far it has not failed. all the components are small and compact and blend in with the rest of the house decor.

These were great—until they weren't. Less than a year later and they won't stay paired, the light on the sensor just continues to flash blue and nothing happens when I open/close the door. We've tried repairing, tried replacing batteries—nothing. I didn't expect high quality for the price, but I did at least expect it to work for more than 9 months.

Don't want to spend a fortune on security? Buy a set or two of these. I can hear them anywhere in the house and know when my door is opened. The wind has blown one of my doors open in the winter a couple of times and I knew immediately. Great if you have children and if you have multiple access points to your home you wish to secure. Seconds to install just stick and plug in. The alarm is low to very loud so you just place them in one large area.

I needed to find a way to have a chime when doors opened to a church building and these did the job. The wireless transmitters and magnets are installed on two exterior doors. One chime is located behind the secretary's desk and another chime is atop a second floor stairway. When someone enters or exits the building, the door chime goes off. I was concerned over the distance but this was not an issue. The furthest transmitter to a chime is over 70' between two floors along with doors, walls and ceiling blocking the chime. It rings without a hitch. The chime is loud enough and can be easily adjusted. For the number of chimes, 53 is way too many since an office only needs one or two and each receiver can have its own distinctive sound. You will need to cycle through all the chimes to get to the one you want. As far as the batteries in the transmitters, these are small 12v. I don't know how long the batteries will last but the units have been in semi-daily use for about 5 months. I'd suggest getting spare batteries: Duracell 21/23. Also, for the SECRUI Door Chime buy what you need. For us, it was two chimes with 3 transmitters. The price is right for these units and so far so good. At least you'll know when someone has entered the building.
