Most knobs come with small diameter screws which they fit. The screw on this lid was welded to the pot lid and so could not be changed. This is the fifth set of knobs I have bought trying to fit this lid! It fits. It also comes with the screw so you can fit it to any lid with a hole in it. You can see the size of the screws in the photo. The larger screw is the one that came with this knob. The other one is the smaller one most knobs come with. This knob is soft silicone and is large and comfortable to hold. It feels like quality. It fits snugly and doesn’t leave room underneath for water or other contaminants to ge under the knob. I like this knob a lot. It is a little more expensive but if it holds up it will be worth it. After all, some times you get what you pay for.

This is a great replacement for the original. Easy to install, feels good in the hand, It's soft but strong. Even if your original handle is fine I would consider replacing it with this one because it's so much better.
