I bought a battery per instructions and it works great. Easy to use. Even actuates electric brakes. I used it to test my enclosed trailer turn signals. So I replace both and they now test perfect. Even tests the 12V from vehicle to trailer, it lights up the break away controller battery charger on the trailer. Well worth the money.

This is an amazing product you should buy, even if you wire one trailer. All the work can be done without the inconvenience of connecting to a vehicle. FYI; any trailer that can be pulled behind and pickup will need the light ranger 9101 version; the heavy ranger is for over the road trucking. Does require a small ATV battery that costs about 130.00. Comes with a charging port to charge up the battery when not in use. All in all it’s my new favorite tool. For now…
