Color comes on as seen, and last fairly long.

Photo included to show a quickly painted first coat. Dries down pretty fast and opaque for one coat, which I think will be enough for me! Totally worth the price because I think this will be my new favorite nude-ish nail color. The breathable formula feels great as well.
