**Q: I wear an 81/2.  Which size should I order?**
A: I have a 7 1/2 shoe size and I ordered an 8. The 7 1/2 were a little tight on me but I have a wide foot. So 8 was perfect fit for me.

**Q: How is the arch support?**
A: Very comfortable for me; I have plantar fasciitis and these help a great deal.

**Q: What color is slate?**
A: Although I didn't purchase the slate color, it appears to me to be a medium gray.

**Q: Is this a grey color? or a blue/slate color?   thanks!**
A: It's grey but with a blue undertone.

Merrell's is my choice when it comes to flip flop sandals. This is my second pair. These are great and have the big toe loop which is a must for me and without it, I would be slipping out of the sandal when I walk. The toe loop is soft and does not rub or cause irritations or blisters, made of soft material, & has a non slip sole I bought a size 9.5 in blue which is navy with aqua. I did not need to go up or down a size.
