A Bit Short
The splint works ok. You can put it on and take it off one handed. Both splints are a bit short. They are plenty big enough in diameter. They also can be bent to adjust the diameter. The construction is quite rigid otherwise. If you are trying to judge size by the picture on the package - I would guess that the hand belongs to a 12 year old. The large splint makes it barely half way down my finger. All that said, a couple weeks later the slice is healed up without stitches. Having been through this before that's pretty good. Getting a large gash to do that without stitches is not always easy. Without a splint, don't even try it. If you go for the stitches, they will put you in a splint anyway. So since it worked I'll bump it up a star. If I get cut lower on the finger next time, the extra star is coming off :)

Exactly what I needed!
Worked amazingly well for my fingers with stitches in my knuckle. Didn’t press on the stitches and helped give support, I was able to bend it slight for a curved splint and it was perfect!

Size is Critical!
This is a fine product. I bought the medium size as I'm a medium sized female and the splint fit fine... until I needed to flex my fingers. The middle of my finger was made uncomfortable by the bottom of the splint digging in and had to order the small size instead. One thing that might have removed that problem is that the splint is curved at the bottom rather than a straighter, shorter edge thus extending the length where it is not wanted.. in my case. The other problem for me is that I'm in & out of water all day so had to remove the splint repeatedly as the foam gets soaked. But, I still use it & am happy to have it as it keeps my finger safe. It works, it does its job.

I have tried other brands but keep coming back to this brand
I have worn these for years. I have trigger finger in both hands and wear a splint on each hand at night to keep the fingers straight. They are adjustable and provide plenty of room at the finger tip. Other brands I have tried are narrow at the tip of the finger area and cut off blood flow but this brand has plenty of room at the top of the finger to be comfortable. I have tried other brands but keep coming back to this brand.

Finger splint
Have used a splint like this in the past so decided to order a new one. It is comfortable and supportive and keeps the finger immobilized.

Fits large fingers
Excellent! Fits my stubby middle finger, and the Velcro is long enough to connect around my finger. Buy with confidence.

Following a finger fracture I wanted a splint that offered more protection that a simple finger bandage (NHS solution). I wanted something that came in a range of sizes (I can never tell which would be the best fit) so having a selection was great. The foam is very comfortable and does not break or clump should it get wet. The metal outside is just the right rigidity to ensure the finger can remain protected but not crimped or clamped. You will need some surgical tape to secure the end of the fitting so it stays in place so be sure to order that too! Have worn one particular size for nearly 2 weeks and it has held up well. Now cleaned and put away just in case. If you’re looking for something like this hopefully this will be what you’re looking for.

Good size, but when bent over finger etc, the foam needs to be longer to allow for this as the metal and foam are the same length the blue foam then gets smaller and the edges of the metal dig in your finger. So the blue foam being another 3mms longer prevents the metal digging in or make the metal 3 mms smaller. Else you end up with a blister on your finger. Which adds to the injury you already have. So I end up having to put elasterplaster over the finger and around the edges of the splint. Please take this into account when making them thankyou.
