Q: What is the difference between the pd -101 and pt-101

Filter type, PD-100 uses the round screw in filters and the 101 is the same mask but with the 3M style filter fittings.

Hi Iris, Thank you for your question! Typically this means you are overtightening the respirator. There is a common misconception that these respirators need to be tightened extremely tight to get a proper seal. However, if you tighten it just enough it's snug, and perform both the positive and negative pressure seal tests, you should be able to get a proper seal without putting so much pressure on your nose.
