No real disadvantage besides price. **Q: what is the difference between one button and two button?** A: In researching the Amazon web site and pictures of the device, caught 2 differences. 1) Mechanically, two buttons allows changing the angle of the brush/squeegee in 2 directions, as opposed to one direction with only one button. The second difference I caught by accident was that I could buy the one button version through Amazon Prime but selecting the 2 button device brought up a note on the ordering page that implied it came from somewhere else. **Q: I'd love to use this pole to brush dead moss off a roof in the process of cleaning. Does anyone recommend a lightweight brush attachment for that?** A: I recommend purchasing a different product. I found it extremely difficult to use this just to clean windows outside the office where I work The pole and its attachments just didn't want to stay together. The attachments themselves refuse to stay in a locked, upright position., I can't imagine how it would stand up to scrubbing moss. **Q: does this come any larger than 12 feet ?** A: Yes, we also sell a 6-24 foot version.
