Samsung z flip
Not made for the Samsung z flip it moves everywhere because of the weight of the phone when using the pop socket option But the MagSafe part works fine

Strong magnet
I'm using the surface mount version and it's been great. Just place it on any flat surface (including proclip's custom car mounts) and it works smoothly. You can use it with or without a popsocket. It's definitely easier to align and mount with a popsocket, but if you forgot to put it on for a quick errand, then no problem, it'll still mount with just the magsafe ring alone. I got it on sale and it was worth it. I don't think it's worth it at msrp, but at least you can use it with or without a popsocket.
